This role requires expertise in commercial and industrial electrical estimating, specifically in projects related to water/wastewater, aerospace, and public infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple deadlines and demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methods. Familiarity with tools like Accubid and Bluebeam is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with reviewing drawings and bid packages effectively.
• Proficient in quantity takeoffs using specialized estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates from plans and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review drawings and addenda.
• Identify scope gaps and value engineering opportunities.

Skills

We’re partnering with a well‑established electrical contractor that continues to grow across complex commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects throughout Florida.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Electrical Estimator who understands how to build accurate, competitive estimates while identifying risk, protecting margin, and supporting strategic project selection.

• Industrial & Public Infrastructure

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing detailed electrical construction estimates from plans/specs
• Performing quantity takeoffs using Accubid and related estimating tools
• Reviewing drawings, addenda, and bid packages
• Soliciting and leveling vendor/subcontractor pricing
• Identifying scope gaps, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
• Supporting preconstruction and project turnover activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Commercial and/or industrial electrical estimating experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methods
• Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Ability to independently manage multiple bids and deadlines
• Field electrical experience is highly valued

Strong consideration will be given to candidates coming from electrical contractors involved in healthcare, infrastructure, municipal, industrial, or design‑build work.
