Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team on commercial electrical construction projects. You will develop detailed labor and material estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and subcontractor pricing to produce competitive bids.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably within commercial construction
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Trimble Accubid v16 is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate labor and material estimates by analyzing project drawings and specifications
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive bids
• Price equipment and maintain up-to-date cost databases
