Job summary

Great Basin Industrial, LLC in Kaysville, UT is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Preconstruction to prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial electrical projects and support early preconstruction efforts. You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop labor, material, and equipment estimates.

Coordinate with project managers and vendors, solicit bids, and evaluate risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience with industrial electrical construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

Location: On site, Kaysville, UT (some travel required)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Preconstruction professional to join our growing Electrical team in Kaysville, UT. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting preconstruction efforts, and collaborating with project teams to help deliver successful industrial electrical projects. While this role is based in Carlsbad, occasional travel to project sites and client meetings is required.

Responsibilities

• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support project and client needs.
