Ace Electric is hiring a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator to pursue and execute complex electrical construction projects, including hyperscale data centers and large commercial facilities. You will work with operations, preconstruction, and vendors to develop accurate, competitive estimates that drive project wins.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience in Mission Critical / Data Centers, Industrial and Large Commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and project documents to prepare estimates.
• Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers, and operations teams.
• Support preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain client and subcontractor relationships.

Position Overview

As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including:

• Hyperscale Data Centers
• Mission Critical Facilities
• Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities
• Distribution Centers
• Large Commercial Projects

Youll work closely with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates
• Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams
• Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts
• Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Experience in:
  • Mission Critical / Data Centers
  • Industrial Construction
  • Large Commercial Construction
  • Design-Build Projects
  • Fast-Track Construction Environments

Technical Skills

• Accubid Anywhere or similar estimating software
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Excel
• Blueprint and specification interpretation
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems

Professional Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• High attention to detail and organization
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-secondary education or industry certifications preferred
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
