Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an Estimator II to support commercial and industrial electrical estimating and preconstruction activities under experienced guidance. You will perform document review, quantity takeoffs, and develop cost proposals using standard estimating methods.

Responsibilities include analyzing plans, coordinating with vendors, preparing bid packages, and assisting with RFP responses. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with project teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/industrial estimating and preconstruction.
• Ability to read plans and specs; develop pricing with assumptions.
• Proficient with estimation software and MS Office.
• Eligible work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Complete takeoffs and estimate development for defined scopes.
• Analyze plans, specs, schedules, and bid requirements; document assumptions, exclusions, and scope gaps.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor quotations and labor/procurement analysis.
• Lead or support RFP responses and bid qualification.
• Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and ConEst.
• Prepare bid folders and maintain estimate records.
