Job summary

EC Electric is hiring an Electrical Construction Estimator II in Boise, Idaho. This on-site role supports commercial and industrial electrical estimating and preconstruction under experience-based direction.

You will review documents, perform quantity takeoffs, develop estimates, analyze labor and material costs, coordinate with vendors, and prepare proposals to ensure competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret plans, specs, schedules, bid documents.
• Proficiency with takeoffs and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Independently completes takeoffs and estimates for defined scopes.
• Analyzes plans, specs, schedules, and bid requirements.
• Coordinates vendor and subcontractor requests and reviews quotations.
• Assist estimators and lead defined tasks.
• Develop complete, competitive responses to RFPs where appropriate.
• Review plans and bid documents to define scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and ConEst.
