The role emphasizes accuracy, organized cost data, and effective communication with subs and vendors. Procore and Bluebeam proficiency is valued; MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimator experience in construction.
• Electrical estimates experience preferred.
• Degree in a construction-related field desired.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze plans/specs; reflect requirements in estimates.
• Produce reliable quantity surveys for assigned items.
• Generate design development estimates from partial plans.
• Develop complete project quantities from schematics.
• Solicit subs and vendors; communicate scope clearly.
• Ensure full trade coverage; flag gaps early.
• Prepare bid-day spreadsheets and value breakdowns.
• Project pricing from history; adjust for conditions.
• Review proposals to identify scope gaps.
