This role emphasizes learning takeoff methods, cost data interpretation, and collaboration with senior estimators. Ideal candidates have a construction-related bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years of estimating experience, with exposure to Accubid and Excel, and willingness to travel up to 10% for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of estimating experience in commercial construction, electrical preferred.
• Basic exposure to Accubid estimating and Excel usage.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope and contents of estimate.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and review for completeness.
• Prepare estimates using established procedures and takeoffs.
• Coordinate with senior estimators on scope, pricing, and documentation.
• Maintain files backing estimating assumptions and methodologies.
