Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking an Estimator II to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects nationwide. The role involves evaluating bid specifications and drawings, assembling costs, and presenting project costs to senior leadership.

You will support small- to medium-sized projects with guidance from senior estimators. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 3 years of estimating experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience estimating data centers and/or commercial construction, preferably electrical.
Proficient in Accubid estimating; CAD or 3D software preferred.

Responsibilities

Review drawings and specs to determine scope and requirements.
Prepare estimates by taking complete takeoffs and entering into the estimating system.
Identify qualified subcontractors and solicit quotes; review quotes for completeness.
Itemize and quantify all incidentals for bid packages; prepare completion matrices.
Develop labor productivity and unit costs with senior estimators for bids.
Present estimates to leadership and support project turnover.
