Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a large-scale data center construction project from estimating through execution in Tennessee. You will prepare detailed estimates, review drawings and specifications, and perform quantity takeoffs for electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.

You will work closely with project management, engineering, vendors, and subcontractors to develop budgets and proposals, review quotes for gaps, and

Qualifications

3+ years of electrical estimating experience in data center or mission-critical projects.
Strong ability to read drawings, specs, one-lines, and equipment schedules.
Proficient in takeoffs and pricing development.
Experience with estimating software such as AccuBuild, McCormick, Trimble, or similar.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical estimates for large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects.
Review drawings, specifications, scope documents, and bid packages to develop takeoffs and pricing.
Perform material and labor takeoffs for electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, feeders, lighting, controls, and related equipment.
Collaborate with project management, engineering, vendors, and subcontractors to develop budgets and proposals.
Review subcontractor and vendor quotes and identify gaps or discrepancies.
Assist with change orders, cost tracking, and project updates as work progresses.
Participate in preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and project handoff.
