Job summary

Travel for pre-bid meetings and job sites is expected as needed. The ideal candidate has a 3+ year estimating background in electrical construction, a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering, and strong Excel and MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent knowledge.
• 3+ years of estimating experience in the electrical construction field.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Underground electrical work experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFP process and bid documentation.
• Collaborate with estimators to prepare documents for legal review.
• Identify bid type, scope, materials, labor, and bonding requirements.
• Travel to pre-bid meetings and jobsites as needed.
• Prepare takeoffs and project plans with the team.
• Finalize schedules and work plans with leadership.
• Submit bids with leadership approval.
• Maintain bid logs and rate schedules.
• Support project management and field leadership for setup.
