Role Description

The Electrical Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mount Airy, MD. Day-to-day tasks include performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing labor and material requirements, soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotes, and ensuring estimates align with project scope and company standards. The estimator collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to clarify technical details, manage pricing updates, and support cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves maintaining estimating databases, participating in pre-construction meetings, and identifying value-engineering opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.
