A nationwide utilities contractor is seeking a skilled electrical estimator to lead evaluations of telecommunication projects. The role involves collaborating with project managers, identifying project risks, and utilizing estimating tools like Accubid and Bluebeam. Candidates should have a track record in electrical estimating, a minimum of 4 years of experience, and knowledge of relevant codes and regulations. Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
• Proven track record in electrical estimating for commercial and government projects.
• Familiarity with NEC and local electrical regs
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Lead thorough evaluations of telecommunication projects to determine electrical needs and specifications
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to collect essential information for precise estimate preparation
• Identify potential project risks and propose strategies to minimize or mitigate those risks
• Review electrical drawings and plans to inform and validate cost projections
• Utilize computer estimating tools such as Accubid and Bluebeam to assist in developing reliable electrical cost forecasts

Required Skills/Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Accubid software for estimating purposes
• Proven track record in electrical estimating for commercial and government projects
• Solid knowledge of electrical telecommunications construction or infrastructure project management principles
• Understanding of the National Electrical Code along with relevant local electrical regulations
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar or related role
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred but not mandatory
