Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to fabricate and assemble prototype electrical designs for early engineering development, integration, and testing. You will work cross-functionally to understand requirements and provide DFM/DFA feedback for design improvements.

Hands-on experience with harnesses, PCBAs, and electromechanical assemblies is essential.

Competenze

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, assembly, and rework in an R&D or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and datasheets.
• Proficiency in fine-pitch SMT and through-hole soldering (IPC J-STD-001 or equivalent).
• Experience building and modifying complex cable and wire harness assemblies (crimping, soldering, routing).
• Diagnosing electronic failures to the component level using standard test equipment and documentation.
• Understanding of product development lifecycles, reliability, and compliance testing.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-organizing: ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an electronics lab/test environment.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Mansioni

• Build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies.
• Perform precision PCB rework and assembly (SMT and through‑hole) under a microscope.
• Execute test plans with benchtop equipment to verify PCB and systems performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures to the component level using schematics and layouts.
• Document test data, rework actions, and failure modes for engineering analysis.
• Lab maintenance and calibration to support a safe, clean work environment.
