Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, operation, and improvement of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution, including substations, UPS, and emergency power generation.

You will drive safety, regulatory compliance (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E), lead capital projects, lean initiatives, SCADA/FMCS support, and annual budget processes while developing a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years in leadership or management within high-tech manufacturing.
• PE license preferred; NFPA 70E and NEC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and ensure OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC compliance.
• Oversee capital and capacity projects for large-scale electrical distribution.
• Manage SCADA/FMCS alarm response and maintenance planning.
• Develop annual electrical expense budgets and vendor negotiations.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.
