Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a SME Senior Electrical Engineer to design and validate industrial automation systems using PLC, VFD, and UPS technologies. The role emphasizes robust programming, testing, and on-site commissioning in a critical 24x7 factory environment.

You will develop control software, assess electrical systems, and document procedures while collaborating with project teams to meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with PLC, VFDs, and UPS equipment.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical troubleshooting and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design industrial automation systems with detailed schematics and design documentation for PLC installations, VFD systems, and UPS solutions.
• Analyze electrical systems for compatibility with PLC, VFD, and UPS equipment and recommend improvements.
• Develop software for PLCs, VFDs, and UPS monitoring using LD, FBD, ST, or SFC.
• Test, validate, and commission PLC, VFD, and UPS systems; supervise installation and start-up.
• Create technical documentation and provide training on operation and troubleshooting.
