Job summary

KFI Engineers is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager in Lexington, KY to lead a team of engineers and designers across healthcare and commercial facilities. You will drive technical excellence, manage resources, and ensure successful project delivery with strong client satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, contribute to proposals, and engage in customer meetings while developing standards and tools. Travel up to 25% domestically is possible; PE license and 10+ years of experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• P.E. registration and 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Extensive experience designing electrical systems for building infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NESC, ANSI/IEEE, IBC and Life Safety Code.
• Leadership and staff development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of electrical engineers and designers.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor and train electrical staff.
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules and budgets for electrical projects.
• Reviews contractor submittals and supports startup/commissioning.
• Supports business development through proposals and client meetings.
• Maintains electrical standards and provides cross-discipline support.
