Job summary

GEUS in Greenville, TX is seeking an experienced Manager of Electrical Engineering and Operations to lead engineering staff and oversee planning, design, construction support, standards development, compliance, and system reliability across distribution, transmission, substations, and production.

You will coordinate with internal departments, customers, contractors, regulatory entities, and other utilities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and expansion of GEUS electric

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Ability to obtain Texas Professional Engineer License within 6 months.
• Six years of progressive electrical engineering experience in the electric utility sector, with related functions; master's/PhD reduces experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering staff and provide technical leadership for electric utility engineering, planning, design, construction support, standards development, and compliance.
• Support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation, maintenance, and expansion of GEUS electric facilities, coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Develop and apply standards, criteria, procedures to promote safe, reliable, and cost-effective work.
• Coordinate with departments, customers, contractors, and regulators to align priorities and technical requirements.
• Assist with budgets, scopes of work, cost estimates, and procurement; monitor costs and schedules.
