Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering technical lead and functional manager for the Tactical Effects division. You will lead a multidisciplinary team from concept to flight delivery, guiding architecture trades and product maturation for scalable drone and launcher designs.

You will collaborate across electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test teams, troubleshoot across boundaries, and drive production readiness for fielded systems in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems.
• Demonstrated experience designing and integrating mixed signal circuits.
• Proficiency with Altium or equivalent ECAD tools.
• Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
• Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Experience working on products used in extreme environments (aerospace, defense, etc.).
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team through concept to flight delivery for R&D/prototype design with a goal to transition to product line ramp up to production of new drones and rocket motor systems.
• Guide the team through architecture trades, board design, implementation, troubleshooting and validation, supporting system level integration, flight test, and customer deliveries.
• Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment and software debugging tools.
• Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
• Mature the product designs for scale with focus on optimizing manufacturing and scaling designs for mass production.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.
