Job summary

P2S|CMTA is offering a Summer Internship for Electrical Engineering students. The program provides hands‑on experience in the Electrical team, with office and field exposure and mentorship from experienced professionals.

The internship lasts 10‑12 weeks, starts in June, and offers an in‑office schedule. Undergraduate interns earn $24/hour and graduates $26/hour, with opportunities to learn design, prototyping, testing, and documentation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multi‑engagement environment; teamwork, initiative, and adaptability; detail‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to design by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts.
• Assist in testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and generate reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in meetings.
• Engage in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
