Job summary

P2S|CMTA is offering a Summer Internship for Electrical Engineering students, with hands-on experience in the Electrical Engineering team on office and field projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including visits to project sites and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events.

The 10-12 week internship starts in June and ends in August-September, depending on availability.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Revit and/or AutoCAD training a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Familiar with CAD/BIM standards.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to design processes by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts.
• Assist in testing to ensure functionality and reliability of engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Generate reports and summaries to communicate project progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
