Job summary

Stantec’s Chandler, AZ office is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our multi-disciplinary team of water professionals. You will work with experienced practitioners and have exposure to electrical aspects of water infrastructure design, including pump stations and treatment plants.

You will collaborate with local and virtual teams, perform calculations, and assist in planning and design under supervision of a professional engineer, building practical skills for a real-world career

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college/university and/or on summer break between semesters.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Versatility and willingness to work within the team.
• Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed.
• Good MS Office skills including Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams and senior staff to produce high quality work for water and wastewater clients.
• Perform engineering calculations, prepare detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Assist in planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects such as pump stations and treatment plants.
