Job summary

Stantec's Chandler, AZ office seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to join a multi-disciplinary team of water professionals. You will gain exposure to electrical aspects of water infrastructure design, including water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.

Collaborate with project teams, perform engineering calculations, and assist in planning, design, and construction of critical infrastructure projects in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college/university and/or on summer break between semesters.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within the team.
• Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed.
• Good MS Office skills including Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local and virtual project teams and senior project staff to produce high quality work products for our water and wastewater clients under the supervision of a professional engineer.
• Perform engineering calculations, prepare detailed design drawings and specifications, prepare planning and technical engineering reports, and design electrical infrastructure for pump stations and water and wastewater treatment plants.
