Job summary

Stantec’s Phoenix, AZ office is seeking a Student Intern to join our multi-disciplinary water resources team. You’ll assist with data collection, calculations, charts, graphs, and hydraulic modeling using Excel or CAD tools, while supporting design documents and client interactions.

You will work with engineers on projects across the water/wastewater sector, gaining exposure to planning, design, and construction of pipelines and pump stations. A 2-year coursework minimum and GPA 3.0 are expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in civil/environmental engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• 2 years of related undergraduate coursework or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, calculations, graphs, and drawings for water/wastewater projects.
• Support design staff on pipelines, lift stations, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Assist in reports, proposals, and client interactions; fieldwork may be required.
