Stanley Consultants in Austin, TX seeks an Engineer-In-Training 1, Electrical to gain hands-on experience in designing and analyzing buildings and large structures for diverse clients. You will support professionals, participate in site visits, perform design computations, and contribute to CAD-based plan development.

The role emphasizes mentorship, quality control, and understanding applicable electrical design codes and standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and learn from licensed Professional Engineers and be mentored by industry leaders in electrical engineering.
• Support experienced engineers on projects, including design of steel and concrete structures in unique loading environments and reviewing fabrication drawings during construction.
• Engage in site visits and field investigations to inform design decisions.
• Perform design computations and assist in preparing and checking structural analysis models.
• Assist in plan development using computer aided drafting and design programs.
• Adhere to company standards for quality control and familiarise with City, County, State, Federal, and International design codes and standards.
