Job summary

Talanto is seeking a passionate Electrical Engineering intern for Summer 2027 to join our mission-driven defense-tech team. The 10‑12 week paid program provides hands-on mentorship, a meaningful internship project, and a potential full-time offer at the end.

You will work on state-of-the-art AI products, power electronics, RF, and test automation using Python. Expect to start June 2 or June 23, with both full-time internship terms and a structured benefits package.

Qualifications

• Undergrad, graduate, or PhD student in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Strong understanding of EE fundamentals, mechanics, programming, physics, and math.
• Experience on multidisciplinary hardware development projects (internship, job, club, team, or personal project).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ownership of project outcomes and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements gathering, design, and validation of avionics assemblies/test fixtures.
• Gain expertise in EE disciplines to design power electronics, communications, RF, and more.
• Design test stands and fixtures (relays, PLCs, PCBAs, harnessing, etc.).
• Use Python to automate test sequences, perform analysis, or run simulations.
• Attend cross-functional design reviews and advocate design changes for simpler manufacturing.
• Other duties as assigned.
