Skydio is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns to join our EE team this Fall, with an October or November start. You will help prototype, validate, develop, and refine the electrical systems that bring together state-of-the-art computing hardware, sensing, and power systems in the latest autonomous flying sensors.
As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will be helping solve tough challenges alongside a team of world-class engineers.
Familiar with basic EE lab tools (oscilloscope, signal generators, etc.)Ability to quickly prototype solutions and circuit demonstrationsPrevious internship work on electronic productsFamiliar with scripting/programming in Python/CFamiliar with an EDA software suite, preferably Cadence AllegroSome experience with power electronics (motor driver, switch mode power supplies), digital electronics (MCU, FPGA, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C), and/or analog electronics (filters, ADC/DAC)Ability to work autonomouslySolid grasp of electrical engineering fundamentalsCurrently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field)Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification within 30 days of engagement start, if required
