Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Student Intern for our Minneapolis, MN office. The role provides hands-on experience in electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems across building and site infrastructure projects, under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

You will learn to read engineering drawings, perform calculations, coordinate with vendors, and perform field visits while developing proficiency in relevant software and design tasks.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BSEE degree program at an ABET-accredited university.
• Sophomore, junior or senior working towards BS in Electrical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Local to the Denver area.
• Able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems for building and site infrastructure projects.
• Assist with engineering drawings, calculations, and vendor communication under supervision.
• Gain familiarity with computer software and field site visits.
• Support design tasks such as electrical system modeling, lighting/power calculations, and panels/equipment schedules.
