Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an electrical engineering intern to support senior staff in the design of power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grid-tied DER systems. Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with two to three years of study.
• 0-1 year of electrical engineering and design internship or work experience (preferred).
• Basic understanding of distribution power design and electrical engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with load calculations, generator sizing, voltage drop analysis, and fault current calculations.
• Model and design electrical, lighting, and solar photovoltaic systems; prepare single-line diagrams and motor control schematics.
• Support cost estimates, review submittals, and coordinate with senior staff to meet project deadlines; travel to client sites as needed.
