Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an electrical engineering intern to support senior staff in designing power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grid-tied DER systems through calculations and modeling.

You will help prepare design documents, participate in site visits, and learn to carry out typical engineering tasks within water, wastewater, and broader industrial sectors under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with two to three years of study.
• Basic understanding of distribution power design.
• Proficient in Revit AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, Visual lighting software, Elumtools.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering design activities such as load calculations and generator sizing.
• Model electrical, lighting, and solar PV systems and prepare single-line diagrams.
• Assist with cost estimates, submittals, and project documentation; travel to client sites.
• Collaborate with senior staff to meet project deadlines and learn design review processes.
