American Electric Power (AEP) offers an electrical engineering internship in Columbus, Ohio. You will work with experienced engineers on planning, design, and field activities while developing data-driven dashboards and cost estimates.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in an ABET-accredited program.
• Must have completed at least freshman year.
• Graduation date Fall 2027 - Summer 2028.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project teams on planning, design and execution of enterprise projects.
• Participate in design reviews and knowledge-building activities to maintain safety and standards.
• Attend field visits to understand power system operations and inspections.
• Develop and analyze databases, reports, cost estimates and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Assist in safety documentation and improve operational performance.
