AEP seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Columbus, Ohio site to contribute to ongoing electrical projects, learn from experienced engineers, and grow within the energy sector. You will engage in planning, design reviews, and field visits while developing data-oriented insights.

Eligible candidates should be pursuing an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree, have completed freshman year, and be 18+.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in an ABET-accredited program.
• Completion of freshman year required.
• Graduation date between Spring 2028 and Fall 2028.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement enterprise projects.
• Participate in design reviews and knowledge-building activities to maintain safety and standards.
• Conduct field visits to understand power system operations and assist inspections and tests.
• Assist in developing databases, reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
• Support documentation for decision-making and safety initiatives.
