Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking an Electrical Intern to join our Chicago office, gaining hands-on experience on innovative and sustainable engineering projects.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, use Revit and BIM tools, and contribute to powering the built environment while learning from leading engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Coursework in electrical power systems design, control systems, and/or building systems design.
• Interest in electrical engineering with emphasis on power systems.
• Familiarity with BIM tools and building services design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, schedules, and reports using Revit.
• Analyze load to determine system sizing and assign circuitry for power and lighting.
• Perform electrical building services design and calculations with Design Master and SKM.
• Adopt new technologies to improve performance and sustainability.
