Job summary

Buro Happold Limited invites motivated Electrical Engineering students to join as an Electrical Intern in Washington, DC. You will gain hands-on experience shaping sustainable engineering solutions and contribute to impactful projects that serve communities and address climate challenges.

You will work with experienced professionals, using Revit and other tools to model electrical systems, perform calculations, and explore innovative technologies for better performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Coursework in electrical power systems design or building systems design.
• Familiarity with BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Use Revit to prepare technical drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Analyze load to determine system sizing and assign circuitry for power and lighting devices.
• Undertake electrical building services design and calculations using relevant software.
