Job summary

IMEG Corp seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program in Columbus, OH. You will assist with electrical system design, research equipment, and support client relations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Required is 2 years toward an Electrical Engineering BS, experience with CAD/BIM and MS Office, and a strong interest in design consulting. This is an in-office, full-time summer internship with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiar with CAD and/or BIM software.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong interest in design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of electrical systems for projects per code and IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment and supporting resources.
• Support client relations, document project decisions, and maintain the design notebook.
• Coordinate design and schedule activities with architecture, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology teams.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring progress.
