Job summary

IMEG Corp in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program. You will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings while working with experienced engineers and consultants.

You will support project documentation, coordination, and site observations, contribute to education markets, and help deliver high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• Interest in design consulting and building systems.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing discipline systems in accordance with code and standards.
• Research commercially available equipment to support project needs.
• Support client relationships and maintain project design documentation.
• Coordinate design and scheduling with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical teams.
• Document design decisions and client instructions; monitor progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check; issue addenda as needed.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support contract services.
• Work within project budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
