Kimley-Horn in Chicago, IL is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our office. This is not a remote position.

You'll utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients, and collaborate with project managers across disciplines to realize our clients’ visions for the future built environment. The role will involve working on HVAC design within the MEP team and exposure to regulations and standards while supporting diverse

In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Responsibilities

Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required.
Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale HVAC design.
Project type will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.
