Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana office. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include using software to analyze and QC client deliverables, solving complex problems, and collaborating across disciplines to realize clients’ visions for the built environment. Develop familiarity with applicable regulations and our practices, while performing general mechanical engineering tasks to support project managers and our MEP team

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree in progress (Bachelor or Master).

Responsibilities

• Use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Familiarize with federal, state, and local regs, and company/client standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks to support project managers.
• Support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on large HVAC design projects.
• Projects vary and may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.
