Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana office. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include using software to analyze and QC client deliverables, solving complex problems, and collaborating across disciplines to realize clients’ visions for the built environment. Develop familiarity with applicable regulations and our practices, while performing general mechanical engineering tasks to support project managers and our MEP team

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree in progress (Bachelor or Master).

• Projects vary and may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required.
• Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale HVAC design.
• Project type will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)
