Job summary

Mercury Systems, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience across the hardware development lifecycle. You will work with a collaborative engineering team to design, test, and document hardware solutions.

The internship runs May/June through August/September 2027 and expects students enrolled in electrical engineering programs with a minimum 3.1 GPA; familiarity with high-speed digital/analog circuits and lab equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• GPA minimum of 3.1; transcripts may be requested.
• Understanding of high-speed digital and analog circuitry, power management, and EMI.
• Knowledge of conventional and advanced manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist hardware design, development, integration, and testing with experienced engineers.
• Help create or update schematics.
• Support test procedures generation or revision.
• Assist board bring-up activities and document test results.
• Generate test reports and maintain BOMs.
