Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated RF Engineering Intern to join our team in West Caldwell, NJ for the May–August 2027 term. You will work alongside senior engineers on the design and testing of advanced RF components and assemblies, driving small design projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering with a minimum 3.1 GPA, hands-on experience with RF theory and test equipment, and a fast learner eager to

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering.
• GPA minimum 3.1; transcripts may be requested.
• Experience with RF theory through coursework or projects.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, or related test equipment.
• Familiarity with RF circuit fundamentals and design techniques.
• Fast learner able to quickly acquire new skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate RF components and modules to ensure performance meets design specifications
• Generate and maintain BOMs for RF products and assemblies
• Design and support the development of test fixtures for RF characterization
• Support ongoing engineering development projects and product initiatives
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation
• Provide engineering support for existing products while working closely with senior engineers
