Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern for an onsite role in Torrance, CA, from May/June to August/September 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across the full hardware development lifecycle while collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team.

You will assist with schematic updates, board bring-up, test procedures, and BOM creation, while supporting lab verification and test activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required; transcripts may be requested during review
• Basic understanding of high-speed digital and analog circuitry, power management, and EMI
• General knowledge of conventional and advanced manufacturing techniques

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design, development, integration, and testing with experienced engineers
• Assist in creating or updating schematics
• Support generation or revision of test procedures
• Assist with board bring-up, drafting test plans and documenting results
• Perform board bring-up activities
• Generate test reports
• Create and maintain BOMs
