Job summary

IMEG, an employee-owned firm, is offering a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Intern opportunity in Rogers, AR. Over 10-12 weeks you will assist in analysis, design, and oversight of electrical systems for various building types under the guidance of experienced engineers and consultants.

You'll participate in project documentation, coordination across disciplines, and site observations while learning IMEG standards, budgets, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years completed toward BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Exposure to CAD/BIM software and building systems.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design tasks for projects following code and IMEG standards.
• Research equipment and resources for electrical systems.
• Support coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical teams and document design decisions.
• Conduct periodic site observations and maintain project notebooks and records.
