Job summary

IMEG Corporation invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern in Scottsdale, AZ. Over 10–12 weeks, you will assist with analysis, design, and oversight of electrical systems in buildings, collaborating with experienced engineers on real projects.

You’ll support documentation, coordination, and site observations while engaging with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations, focusing on education markets and energy-efficient design.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interest in design consulting.
• Experience with CAD and/or BIM software.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing discipline systems in accordance with code and company standards.
• Research commercially available equipment and resources to support project needs.
• Support client relationships and maintain project design documentation.
• Coordinate design and scheduling with other disciplines.
• Document design decisions and meetings for permanent records.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before final check.
• Assist with preparing and issuing addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support contracted services.
• Work within the project budget and collaborate with teams to meet goals.
