Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer Summer & Fall Co-op based in Jamestown, ND, onsite for U.S. citizens or eligible immigration status. You will assist senior engineers with electrical design tasks and contribute to product design efforts.

You will learn aerospace design and testing standards while supporting troubleshooting, production issues, and root‑cause analysis. This co‑op offers exposure to Collins Aerospace practices and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and be actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
• Circuits Theory courses completed.
• Basic understanding of Electronics and Electrical Design.
• Basic understanding of how to use Oscilloscopes and Multi meters.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Electrical Engineer Summer & Fall Co-op

Position: Onsite U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status (U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract).

Salary

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do

• As an Electrical Engineer Summer & Fall Co-op at Collins Aerospace/RTX, you will support lead/senior engineers with Electrical Design Tasks.

Additional Compensation

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
