Job summary

Arcadis is shaping resilient water infrastructure in the U.S. We seek an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for water, wastewater, and industrial projects across the project lifecycle—from concept to startup.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of water/wastewater experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of power distribution, control schematics, and NEC codes. EIT/PE and a Master’s degree are preferred. Arcadis values sustainability and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and professional licensure (EIT/PE).
• Familiarity with NEC requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver electrical systems for water, wastewater, and industrial facilities.
• Develop electrical design criteria, single-line diagrams, and control schematics.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP, SKM, or similar tools.
• Support budgets, scheduling, and cost estimating across projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and key technical deliverables.
• Engage in client meetings and site visits as required.
