Job summary

Arcadis, a leader in sustainable design and engineering, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the Resilience Water team across the United States. You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of electrical systems for water and industrial infrastructure, from concept through startup.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5 years of water/wastewater experience, and NE Code familiarity; advanced degrees or PE/EIT are a plus. This is a full-time role based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience supporting water/wastewater projects.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline (preferred).
• EIT Certification or PE license (preferred).
• Familiarity with NEC requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and I&C engineers to develop electrical design criteria and technical documentation.
• Design low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP, SKM, or similar tools.
• Support project managers with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits.
