Arcadis, the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support our Resilience Water team on reliable power systems for water and wastewater projects across the United States. You’ll contribute from concept through construction, focusing on distribution, lighting, control, and monitoring to enhance system resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience supporting water/wastewater projects.
• Master’s degree and EIT/PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and I&C engineers to develop electrical design criteria and schematics.
• Design low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems per project requirements and NEC codes.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar tools.
• Support project managers with scope, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and travel as needed.
