Kimley-Horn's Fort Myers office seeks an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Water/Wastewater and Utilities team. This is not a remote position. The role involves design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, and treatment facilities. A PE license (or within 12 months) and AutoCAD experience are required, with strong communication and writing skills.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of electrical engineering design experience.
• PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Municipal engineering experience including pump stations, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience designing electrical/instrumentation & controls for pump stations and treatment plants.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Clear and concise technical communication.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with potential to lead a practice and manage clients and a team.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, and treatment facilities.
• Manage project tasks, design and permitting, and construction coordination.
• Coordinate work with multidisciplinary team to ensure project success.
• Maintain high-quality sets of plans and review others' work.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Engage in client interaction and plan production.
