Job summary

Arcadis in the United States, Tampa, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Resilience Water team. You will design electrical systems for water and wastewater projects, from concept through startup, focusing on reliability, safety, and sustainability.

Required: a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years in water/wastewater; preferred: master's, EIT/PE, NEC familiarity. ETAP/SKM are among the tools you will use daily, and you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience supporting water/wastewater projects.
• Master’s degree and professional licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and I&C engineers to develop electrical design criteria.
• Design LV and MV electrical distribution systems per project specs.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP, SKM, or similar software.
• Support project managers with scope, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits.
